Jennifer Tate
At Camp REACH, we are honored to have Jennifer Tate, a speech pathologist and Co-Founder of the camp. Her specialization in AAC, particularly with teenagers, has made a significant impact on our campers. Jennifer's experience in school and private practice settings has also contributed to her exceptional skills. When she's not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two children at sporting events. Her daughter, Maggie Tate, has been a valuable peer buddy. We are grateful for their dedication and commitment to our camp!
Brendan Rooney
Brendan Rooney has been a with Camp REACH for 7 years, starting as an intern prior. He is a speech pathologist with experience with both schools and private therapy. He has a special interest in AAC and autism. We are so happy to also have Brendan as our current President of our Camp REACH Board of Directors!!
Caroline Kiley
Caroline Kiley is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 23 years experience. She has spent her career working in educational settings around the country with students from pre-k to 12th grade. Her love for AAC led her to serve on AT teams and to volunteer with community-based social skills and communication groups. She has worked the past 8 years in a public separate school setting for students with Autism in Guilford County Schools. She has a love for AAC, has been part of Camp REACH for three years, and is a member of our Board of Directors. When not working, Caroline spends time with her family.
Wendi McMillan
Meet Wendi McMillan, a speech pathologist with has a strong love of AAC and her speech kids! She is one of the co-founders of Camp REACH. After retiring from the schools, she now works in private practice in clinic, charter schools, and with adult with AAC. When not at camp, she loves to travel abroad with her husband of 36 years and visit with her two grown sons, who were once peer buddies!
Susan Matznick
Susan Matznick, an occupational therapist who can also play the role of SLP. She has been with Camp REACH for 2 years. She works in the school and brings lots of adaptations to our team. We are also happy she brings her children along as peer buddies.
Christine Hohstadt
Christine Hohstadt is a speech pathologist who has been a part of our Camp REACH family for 7 years. She works in the school as n AAC specialist. We love that her daughter Audrey has been a peer buddy for all those years as well! When not at camp, you can find Christine and Audrey on a volleyball court somewhere.
